International Year of the Bird concert at the Louisville Center for the Arts this Sunday Oct 14 at 3 pm.
This will be a multifaceted event featuring poetry, visual media, and classical, bluegrass, folk and jazz songs about and inspired by …Birds! Laurie Amodeo and Scott Martin are performing the beautiful Jobim tune Passarim along with Emma Shubin, flute, Kat Fritz, viola, and Andy Reiner, violin, along with other fun stuff. Saturday June 24 : Scott Andrew Martin presents this concert in partnership with the City of Louisville. Sharing sound healing and jazz improv w the community ! Music will be based on the tones of Tibetan bowls & gong, enhanced with piano and vocal interplay. Concert begins at 7:30 p.m.
